RESPONSIBLE DRINKING POLICY

Beverage alcohol has been successfully and safely consumed since prerecorded history for medicinal, religious, and recreational purposes. Its consumption has played an accepted and important role in the cultural and social traditions of both ancient and modern societies. Today, however, alcohol misuse, underage drinking, and drunk driving are serious, industry and nation-wide issues.

Although it is the obligation of each consumer who chooses to drink to enjoy beverage alcohol products in a responsible manner, we promote responsible drinking by legally aged adults, and strive to reduce excessive, irresponsible or underage drinking. United Brands brews the highest quality products, packaging and labeling them in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and marketing them responsibly as well. We promote responsible sales practices throughout the supply chain. While United Brands takes special pride in its products, we are also committed to promoting responsible drinking by those adults who choose to drink.
To that end, United Brands is committed to the responsible placement and content of its brands. We market our products to adults in a responsible and appropriate manner. Our advertising and marketing materials are intended for and targeted towards adults 21 and over. We discourage the illegal or irresponsible consumption of our brands and do not want our brands to be abused. We encourage responsible decision-making regarding drinking or not drinking. We believe that there continues to be an important place in society for beverage alcohol.
